Account & Data Deletion Policy
In accordance with Google Play Developer Policies, GDPR Article 17 (Right to be Forgotten), and international data privacy frameworks, all users of Hadith AI (Hadith Companion) possess the right to permanently delete their account and expunge all personal cloud records.
Account deletion requests are processed directly by our administrative support desk. All verified profile records, synced bookmarks, quiz streaks, and notification tokens will be permanently expunged within 30 calendar days.
How to Request Account & Data Deletion
Please follow these straightforward steps to request permanent removal:
Send Email from Your Registered Email Account
Compose an email to our official developer desk at tk8545725@gmail.com (CC: tk845725@gmail.com).
Set the Mandatory Subject Line
Subject: [Account Deletion Request] - Hadith AI
Include Basic Account Identification
Specify your registered display name, registered email address, or device model so we can safely locate and erase your cloud records.
What Data is Permanently Eradicated?
- Cloud User Profile: Display name, language settings, and madhab preferences stored in Supabase.
- Synced Bookmarks & Notes: Any cloud-backed Hadith bookmarks or saved notes.
- Quiz Streaks & History: All daily quiz score tallies and Sunnah streak counters.
- AI Query Logs: Any temporary cache or anonymized conversation logs.
- Notification Push Tokens: Firebase push notification credentials.
Clearing Local On-Device Data Immediately
Because Hadith AI functions offline, local reading bookmarks and cached chapters reside directly on your phone storage. You can immediately wipe all local data without emailing support:
- On Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Hadith AI > Storage > tap Clear Data.
- Or simply uninstall the app from your device.
