Authenticity & Scholarship
Are the Hadith collections authentic and vetted?
Yes. We present the canonical compilations of Kutub al-Sittah (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasai, Ibn Majah) along with Muwatta Malik, Riyadh as-Salihin, Hisnul Muslim, and 40 Hadith Nawawi. Each narration includes traditional authenticity gradings (Sahih, Hasan, Da'if) according to established Muhadditheen (Hadith scholars).
Does Hadith AI give religious rulings (Fatwas)?
No. Hadith AI is strictly an educational research and reflection assistant. It cites authentic Hadith narrations and scholarly contextual commentary. For legal rulings, marriage, divorce, inheritance, or binding judicial matters, users must consult authorized Islamic scholars and certified Muftis.
Offline Operation & Device Compatibility
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. The entire database of over 45,000 Hadiths, translations in Urdu and English, prayer time calculators, and daily quizzes are pre-bundled inside the app. You only need internet when chatting with the AI assistant or synchronizing cloud backups.
Will it run smoothly on budget smartphones (1GB RAM)?
Yes. The app is optimized specifically for low-end hardware. We maintain a strict 40MB memory image cache, lazy-load all lists with hardware RepaintBoundaries, and avoid unnecessary background services, guaranteeing 60fps performance with no ANR freezes.
Prayer Times & Location Privacy
Why does the app ask for location permission?
Location access is requested exclusively to calculate exact astronomical solar positions for Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha based on your geographic coordinates. Your GPS coordinates remain on your phone and are never sent to our servers.
Can I choose between Hanafi and Shafi'i Asr prayer times?
Yes. You can switch between Hanafi (double shadow length) and Shafi'i/Hanbali/Maliki (single shadow length) calculations anytime in Settings with instant recalculation.
Advertisements & In-App Purchases
Why are there advertisements in the free version?
Advertisements via Google AdMob enable us to keep the entire library free for millions of Muslims worldwide while funding server infrastructure for AI queries. We enforce strict Islamic ad filtering to block inappropriate content. You can also upgrade to Pro for an ad-free experience.
How do I request a refund or cancel my Pro subscription?
Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime through the Google Play Store under "Payments & subscriptions". Full refunds can be requested within 48 hours directly via Google Play or by emailing our support desk at tk8545725@gmail.com with your order number.
